With the largest selection of indoor and outdoor wicker, rattan, and teak furniture in B.C., the Wickertree is the place to be, no matter what your budget or style. And there’s much more to this family-owned store than you may realize.
The family-owned business has been in operation since 1976. Whether you’re shopping for your living room, dining room, sunroom, kitchen, bedroom, patio, or deck, the Wickertree has something for you. With three locations—in Langley, Victoria, and Duncan—the Wickertree has everything from contemporary outdoor living furniture to traditional indoor dining sets.
It also carries shelving units, headboards, day beds, and other items. Then there is a vast array of accents, home décor, and one-of-a-kind gifts. It has a large selection of beautiful baskets, blinds, rugs, silk plants, bamboo, sea grass, vases, lamps, pictures, shelving units, and more.
“We do so much more than just wicker,” says Dustin Knapp, manager of the Langley store, which has a 5,000-square-foot showroom. With unbeatable prices, the Wickertree is British Columbia’s most trusted wicker and rattan store.
The Wickertree sources its material from Ratana and Cathay in Southeast Asia, the world’s top suppliers. What makes rattan and wicker such desirable products in people’s homes is that they’re sustainable, durable, and beautiful. They’re also extremely easy to care for.
Pieces made of wicker and rattan can redefine and rejuvenate an entire space. Knapp notes that the furniture is especially popular on patios. “You can transform a patio from a place to eat meals outdoors on summer nights to an entire comfortable living area; it becomes an extra room.”
The Wickertree has a selection of more than 200 fabrics as well as various collections and configurations. So no matter what size of space you’ve got—whether it’s a condominium patio or an expansive area—there’s a set that will work for you. And if you don’t see a set that suits, you can customize furniture to your own space and style, a customer-friendly approach that’s unique to the Wickertree.
“You may see a dining table you like but want chairs from a different collection,” Knapp says. “You may need a fifth dining chair or just a single chair. We can do that. We’re very flexible to meet our customers’ needs.”
The Wickertree’s outdoor furniture is especially sturdy. It’s made with aluminum framing so it can withstand B.C.’s wet weather. It also has German-made resin that’s handwoven on top of the aluminum frame.
“Resin doesn’t bend, fade, peel, or break,” Knapp says. “It’s completely UV-protected. And it can sit outside all year round.”
What makes the furniture so comfortable is the reticulated high-density, quick-drying foam that the cushions are made of. They also come in more than 200 choices of fabrics.
The epitome of outdoor style comes with a full range of stylish umbrellas, Sunbrella fabrics and fire tables, or fire pits. The Wickertee carries a vast selection of these items, with the stylish fire tables instantly lending drama and warmth to a space.
Add in accents such as coordinating plants or throw cushions, and you’ve got the kind of room that’s hard to leave.
“We offer our customers a one-on-one approach so they get exactly what they want,” Knapp says. “We help make peoples indoor and outdoor dreams come true!”
The Wickertree gives back to the community too; proudly partnering with all of the major charitable hospital lotteries and donating furniture for the prize homes.
